Real women's day is when India see a day without rape victim

Reached work place a bit earlier today, so just thought to check out today’s headlines and given a click on Opera, in the process of loading.. heard voices from the side that two of my colleagues wishing happy women’s day each other, (said myself inside-.. women’s day.. !! (With surprising expression))  Then I just gave a quick response by wishing them with changed expression - added with smile :-)

Mean while browser loaded with home page “yahoo” and top news written as “School girl Gang raped in a moving auto”

That’s it, added smile just turned out to fade.

Well, what is wrong in India? Is our generation going back!! What happened to our moral values?  Where is the respect for women? Can’t we see a day without rape victim? Can this media stop analyzing % of cases increased per year, and start keeping pressure on government to take preventive actions?

What change we have to bring in people and what really people of India to understand?

I just expressed my views

Implement a system to know the value of women by creating a moral value that women are a mother, sister, wife and friend (mainly).

Start conducting counseling programs from school level to the employment level.

Give more importance to the Indian culture than western.

Increase the level of Punishment for assaulting women.

Educate people in rural areas that women are treated equal to goddesses.

Make mandatory of carrying easy instruments that can really helpful when situation went wrong.

Provide helpline numbers available with connection to the special security force for women after 8 PM (mainly in sensitive areas).

Implement a system to monitor the security for women.

Today is Women’s day but I am really sorry to say that there is no day for you without a rape victim; I wish India could see the freedom of women.

Please express your views too..
