Start working right now if you want to become an ENTREPRENEUR

Hai n Hello..
Hope everyone is fine & doing great with your busy schedules ….   !!
Well… what makes me to write this post today?

I met an Entrepreneur who started his business recently in Bangalore, which he thinks to get start his business before 5 years.

Then I asked a question to him!!  What makes you to take 5 years in implementing?

He said: To be frank, I didn’t work on it, not because of the laziness or lack of commitment in me; it is the experience I am lacking in and encouragement.

LaLi (me): Oh, I also passionate towards entrepreneurship but waiting for to get connect with likeminded people.

And the very next question he asked me is. Good, so do you have any burning IDEA in you?

I just replied by nodding head with a smile and started asking more questions related to his experience.
My first question:

I would like to know the problems you faced in getting started your business?

Ahmed (Started a management consulting firm with vast experience) – it depends on your IDEA or business you choose and more over the core team you are having. Well it comes to me; I am a one man show of my entire business. So from the beginning i.e., drafting of my business plan to the end of providing customer service is my role. If you really want to become an Entrepreneur then start working on your IDEA right now.

LaLi (me) - How can I start working on it without knowing anything about the Industry or business!! You only said it took 5 years for you to get it start in order to gain experience!!

Ahmed: Yes, It took 5 years for me to fulfill my dream. It is all because I didn’t work on it in first 3 years and at the time I realized my dream it took 2 more years to drawn a complete blue print of my own business. So tell me is it better working simultaneously with your job?

If you really having a passion to become something then keep working on it without giving a gap in between, otherwise you might lose your passion with enthusiasm.

Having an Entrepreneurial spirit is great but keeping it alive for longer time is really shows your passion towards it.  I am not teaching you the entrepreneur ship lessons; hope I am not making you feel like that...!!

LaLi: No… No... Mr.Ahmed Please share, I am really in need of experienced guidance. It is my pleasure to have a conversation with you. Please share or tell me what all I need to get it start or to fulfill my dream to become an Entrepreneur.

Ahmed:  I have seen many people.  Most of them having a common question that, from where they have to start with or begin with...?

I am seriously suggesting you to get out from the dilemma - where you need to start with?
It really keeps you low and pushes you back for not doing anything.  There are many things you need to work on..

Have you studied your Industry or Market you are going to enter?
Do you know the scope of the market?
Did you identify any niche segments to target?
What is the USP you are having?
Who are your competitors? How they are running their business? What are their offerings? Strategies?
Do you know the legal issues to start a firm or company?
Do you know how much capital u need to start? Have you prepared your business plan?
Does u know how to build a website? If not do you have any contacts?
How do you do marketing for your service or product?  MLM? Marketing plan?
Staff: IT ? Finance? HR ? What are your mission and vision statements?
Have you selected your core team (like minded people)?
Do have any IDENTITY or Track record to show case yourself?
Where do you get funded?
How do you impress your VC’s or Investors?
which department you need to outsource to concentrate on your core business ?

LaLi: Given a hopeless expression

Ahmed: I am not scaring you for not to become an Entrepreneur, I am just letting you know there are so many things to start with or to know some basics as you are going to become founder of the company.

LaLi: How to keep track of all these things with the busy life?

Ahmed: That is why I told you to start working right now simultaneously with your job. Keep yourself free to spend some time for your passion. And the time you spend now on your passion will really helpful to keep you in real market a bit much faster than the time I have taken to enter in to the market.

LaLi: Yes, I really need to start doing research on the Industry I have chosen.

Ahmed: Don’t worry how much time it will take to get it start, always feed your passion with suitable motivating factors. I have seen so many entrepreneurs failing at the beginning stage itself, it is not because of the inexperienced individuals it is the support and guidance they required. Now a day’s there are many start-up incubators came forward to encourage entrepreneurs, Ex: Microsoft and Start-up circle, Tie Bangalore and many more
Keep an eye what they can do for Entrepreneurs as well as for you too..

LaLi: Sure, and I would like to be in touch with you as well.

Ahmed: Any time

LaLi: I am so glad for sparing your time with me and thankful for making me to realize the valuable time

Ahmed: No worries, I am happy to help you, will be in touch. Nice to meet you

LaLi: My Pleasure, Good day.

So, here my theme is to make aware of your passion within you, if you are dedicated and have a strong desire to become an entrepreneur, It is the time to work from now onwards.

Have a blessed day
LaLi

Real women's day is when India see a day without rape victim

Reached work place a bit earlier today, so just thought to check out today’s headlines and given a click on Opera, in the process of loading.. heard voices from the side that two of my colleagues wishing happy women’s day each other, (said myself inside-.. women’s day.. !! (With surprising expression))  Then I just gave a quick response by wishing them with changed expression - added with smile :-)

Mean while browser loaded with home page “yahoo” and top news written as “School girl Gang raped in a moving auto”

That’s it, added smile just turned out to fade.

Well, what is wrong in India? Is our generation going back!! What happened to our moral values?  Where is the respect for women? Can’t we see a day without rape victim? Can this media stop analyzing % of cases increased per year, and start keeping pressure on government to take preventive actions?

What change we have to bring in people and what really people of India to understand?

I just expressed my views

Implement a system to know the value of women by creating a moral value that women are a mother, sister, wife and friend (mainly).

Start conducting counseling programs from school level to the employment level.

Give more importance to the Indian culture than western.

Increase the level of Punishment for assaulting women.

Educate people in rural areas that women are treated equal to goddesses.

Make mandatory of carrying easy instruments that can really helpful when situation went wrong.

Provide helpline numbers available with connection to the special security force for women after 8 PM (mainly in sensitive areas).

Implement a system to monitor the security for women.

Today is Women’s day but I am really sorry to say that there is no day for you without a rape victim; I wish India could see the freedom of women.

Please express your views too..

Stock Investing Strategies PART-3 (Technicals Vs Fundamentals)

Part 0, Part 1, Part 2

Welcome Readers,

As I said in previous parts that we will see how to read different sensex charts to determine the probability of making correct assumptions.  Before we apply any strategy to pick a particular stock it is common to do either technical analysis or fundamental analysis or for sound investment – both.

So in this post I just make an attempt to bring one idea of what is technical analysis and fundamental analysis.
Going in detail, I can say these two are quite opposite, how? Technical analysis looks at price moments of stock in chart and estimates the future stock price movements. Whereas fundamental analysis is based on the economic factors of balance sheet, income statements, price ratios etc., ultimately in fundamental analysis tries to identify whether the company is potential for sound investing or not !!  Technical analysis is completely different to fundamental analysis, it assumes that all fundamentals included in the stock and then go for analyzing the price moments of stock in chart.

Hope I make you clear on two different aspects, at the same time I think I made you confused. isn’t it!!

Yes, now in most of us should have raised a question that which one to go for – in picking a particular stock?

Fundamental Analysis? , Technical Analysis?

Fundamentals are very important, without fundamentals market would not move. It gives a bird view of a company for understanding the balance sheets, income statements, Changes in management, environmental factors, Competitors strategies etc., by considering all these factors it gives a predicted value of future cash flow.

Technical analysis starts with assuming all the fundamental factors included in stock and then go for identifying the trends in price moments and volumes to make a sound decision on predicting the future stock price.

Few tips got from experts:

If you are planning to invest for a longer period then it is better to go for strong fundamental analysis.

Suppose if you are expecting returns in short period of time (say 1 year) then go for fundamental analysis initially and at the time you feel to trade go for technical analysis for better returns.

If you want immediate returns right after your investment then go only for technical analysis, i.e. trends in price moments and volumes.

*As the period increases the fundamentals should be strong *

That’s all for today
Have a blessed day

Business Plan Overview

Welcome,
This post is mainly addressing the future Entrepreneurs and to the people who are going to start their businesses very soon.
The basic and initial step to start or launch a business is to have a blue print of business or business model review. Yes, most of the entrepreneurs are not showing interest in preparing and having a business model in hand for to evaluate and to check the miles they reached in the race of winning the measurable and specifiable vision.
By the end of this post, I guarantee that you all going to be aware of how to write a business plan according to your burning idea or the sector you have chosen.
Let me come to the straight...

Introduction, yes any business plan or model will start of introducing about the history, like what are the past records and stages they reached. If it is a new business then we have to start introducing about our history and relevant capabilities of handling business in a successful track.
What is the main purpose of your business and which business you are in to and why you started this? These are the few basic questions to make you clear every time that why you are in this business world. Once you have described the above then go for explaining the products/services you offered with competitive advantages and in which location you are going to do the business.

So far we have just introduced the company and the product/services, before we implement a business plan in to the market it is necessary to understand the current position of the Industry you are in to!! Whether it is having a large scope of business? Is it flexible for changes in future? and also explain what are you doing at present and how it adds value in your venture or business.

Next, Competitive advantage is another important factor to be consider in writing a business plan, because it always keeps you different among competitors. Bring to notice that what niche segment you have identified to make your product/service USP, Indirectly adds to the company USP and further it helps in increase the sales or to expand company in to different horizons.

Mostly, People having 8 to 15 years of experience are really had a spark to start their own business, with that high spark, they will just enter in to the Entrepreneurship without proper study on markets, current challenges and failures in chosen business, that is how many entrepreneurs are failing right immediate start of their venture. Indirectly these failures give rises to another business opportunity of startup incubators. Of course these startup incubators are really doing well in turning up the normal people to real entrepreneurs.
Why I am telling this is, consistently for 2-3 years a growth plan should be there to define the capabilities for a sustainable growth.

Strategy, like I said above; 2-3 years of your business strategy should be ready by keeping in the mind of environmental changes (Which makes you prepare for strategic impact – External environment factors).
Create some core values in the company of where you want it to go by defining clear mission and vision statements.

Marketing plan includes in business plan, which gives an eye on overall sales process to be happened in business process, Different distribution channels have to be in accessible and strategic alliances to access the deeper or niche markets. In very short, identify the Ecommerce and technology accessible to public which makes you to prepare a tactical promotional plan i.e. choosing a PR, Internet, Advertising, Direct selling etc, is just to create traffic and generate prospects. Always keep a business analyst to calculate the ROI on each marketing plan and for risk reduction.

Management system or Structure: A management system should contain people of skill sets, training & retention, Advisors, Consultants etc,
Always keep a manual of written operations like set of rules & regulations to be followed by the staff & employees

Attach financial budgets and forecasts such as:
Profit and Loss Forecast
Cashflow forecast
Balance sheet forecast
Capital expenditure budget
Break-even analysis

Provide brief notes on each of these forecasts. It’s a good idea to produce optimistic, pessimistic and realistic versions of the first three.
If the cashflow forecasts pinpoint future cashflow difficulties, explain how you plan to deal with these challenges
End with a brief summary of the main points of your plan: where you are now, where you want the plan to take your business.
As the market and the world are always changing, outline when this plan will next be reviewed.
Hope you all enjoyed in reading..!!
Have a blessed day :-)
